Last week I performed my first duty as treasurer for the Master Photographers Association meeting here in the South West. A lecture was planned with two highly sought after professional wedding photographers - Gordon McGowan and Mark Seymour - both at opposite ends of the scale when it comes to approaching wedding photography, one likes to be very much in control of the staging of his photography whilst the other likes to capture events as they unfold. Plenty of information to digest and learn from so I am now working on a few new shots that can really benefit my wedding couples. Should be interesting!
Wedding albums design

My new wedding album design is proving very popular and can be seen here with the cover design of Neil and Claire's wedding which took place at The Imperial Hotel in Torquay, Devon. The sun was shining and family and friends really helped to create a fantastic day for them, which i believe has come across in their wedding album.

Singer portfolio

This week i have just finished editing a new publicity portfolio of photographs for the singer Katy Mae, then i travelled to Bristol to see Neil Sedaka perform for 2 hours - just him and his piano. It was amazing how charismatic he was. Listening to his body of work and his stories of working with some of the great stars it makes you realise how much this man has contributed to the world of 20th century music.
