Catching up with work after illness is never easy and fun but I am glad to say I am now getting there and everyone is being very helpful. Above is a photo shoot of James who wanted new publicity for his performance venues and his agent put him onto me. The idea was for a simple backdrop and lighting set-up as he wasn't too comfortable having his photographs taken due to previous bad experiences, not with me I hasten to add! Well, we had such a good time doing these that the whole shoot was over within 30 minutes or so and then it was down to me to edit and produce the final photo disk and prints. He was very happy, the agent was very happy and I was very happy - even though I am still feeling under the weather! Six weeks now and no sign of improvement. Still, however you feel, you still have to keep working and clicking!!

Fashion Model Portfolios

Making the whole photographic experience fun really enables me to create some wonderful photographs for anyone wanting a portrait - whether potential models or just your family members. I always find it is best to create an atmosphere where i will be relaxed and so will the sitter, whether it is on location or in a studio environment, so working together to create the images becomes less of a chore and more of an enjoyable experience. Eliot Siegal, Vogue photographer, said these images showed fun, impact and made you ask questions when you first viewed them, which he said, was what a photographic image should do.

Christmas Winter Wedding in Brixham

On a crisp winter day in December the guests were gathered outside All Saints Church in Brixham, I had to work quickly to fend off the effects of the cold weather on both my fingers and the guests noses! Two pages from the album can be seen here.

Bovey Castle Wedding

What a beautiful day for a winter wedding. We just managed to get all the photographs taken between the showers which was fantastic as the venue - Bovey Castle in Devon - is a photographers dream wedding venue. The wedding album has now been created and here you can see two of the pages. The venue organisers have asked for a copy to put on show for future couples to view, which was very flattering for me as they organise approximately 50 weddings a year there. I cannot wait for the next one now!

Family Portraits

Today has been very busy, editing a wedding album taken at Bovey castle on Dartmoor National Park, photographing more products for an online company and a family portrait sitting, just in time for Christmas gifts.

This image will be mounted onto canvas and presented to family members as a reminder of how special their first granddaughter's first christmas is. Happy days to look back on for many years.

online retailers

Some online retailers find they become so busy or simply do not have the skills to photograph the images they want for their sites, they come to me. This happened with Siiren and Richardson Arcades, and using their products and local models I created some images for them to use on their websites and in an in-house promotional DVD respectively. Working alongside a film crew for the amusement arcade task we managed to create a promotional piece that will be used to bring people in and spend more money.
