Natural Lifestyle Baby and Family Portrait Photography in the comfort of your own home
"Hey Mum, this is how we want to be remembered!!"

Family portrait photography and baby photography has changed!!
When you capture your children at play it creates a memorable group of photographs you and they will be proud to look back on in years to come.
As a family portrait photographer in Devon I will visit your home or favourite location, making it easier to get the various members of your family together, and take plenty of photographs over a short period of time. You will not have the worry of making your children - and sometimes the grown-ups! - perform like they feel they have to in a studio environment. There is no pressure and everyone will be caught in a relaxed and informal style.
Capturing the right expression in children photography is a matter of skill and timing and when done professionally can be beautifully displayed on your walls, in personal photo albums, DVD's or on your own computer.
Even new born babies can be photographed at home using just natural daylight shining through a window. Their caught expressions are priceless, at play or simply laying down and desperatley trying to communicate with you. Detail baby photographs of hands and fingers, feet and toes, ears and eyes really make the collection shine.

Bespoke baby books
The final portrait photographs are digitally retouched and colour corrected. They can then be printed and framed or supplied in a bespoke professionally printed and designed coffee table book.
Whatever the celebration - 1 year or 100 years...
I recently photographed a lady celebrating her 100th Birthday and all her family had come together from various parts of the UK for a small and intimate party. A collection of formal and candid black & white shots were captured as I melted into the background whilst the family enjoyed their celebrations, and all were put onto a DVD slideshow for everyone to watch. Images were also available online via my website so other members of the family, who could not attend, could look and buy. It really was a good day and even one I will look back on with happiness!!
“The photograph you took of our children still hangs with pride in our living room, it makes me smile everyday”, Mrs. P.Roche, Newton Abbot.
On location! But what about the Great British Weather?

Fashion style portrait photography is growing in popularity in the UK and I prefer the amazing effects natural lighting mixed with a little flash can produce. When you add to this equation the back-drops of an old rustic building, beachside location or the dramatic landscape of Devon, you really can have a family portrait photograph that will last and provide an amazing focal point in your home.
As for the weather, well, I have spent many hours training and perfecting my skills to find locations in Devon that can be used in all weather conditions, even in the wintery evenings! For example, dark cloudy skies with a hint of rain in the air, add a touch of creative flash-light, an archway, tree or stone building to act as shelter, and you really can create a fantastic photograph.
Not only that, but you will have plenty of fun creating your family portrait, good times to look back on and remember when you gaze at your photographs!
How much does it cost to create a family portrait heirloom?
The all important question! There are so many printing and final outcomes for your portrait shoot that to quote a definitive price is just impossible, but I can tell you most people usually spend in the region of approximately £100 to £200. I bet this is not as much as you were expecting and there is a simple reason for this, printing and special output prices have fallen as they have become more widely available. For a more detailed price please contact me and I will be happy to discuss your exact requirements.
So, whether you are looking for an early baby portrait photograph, a collage of your children at play, a creative reminder of a special occassion or a simple family portrait group photograph, please give me a call. There are so many opportunities to capture your family now, why not do it professionally?
